Governor Greg Abbott has lifted restrictions regarding mask mandates starting March 10. However, Trinity Spine & Orthopedics will require all patients and staff to still wear a mask when entering our facility. If you do not have a mask, Trinity Spine and Orthopedics will provide one. Our primary focus is to protect our patients and staff. If you have any questions, please give us a call at 817-283-5252.

Lower Back Pain

Everyone experiences lower back pain at one point or another. It’s something that is hard to avoid but can generally be treated quite easily. The doctors at Trinity Spine and Orthopedics are familiar with pain and understand that everyone feels their pain is severe and will help any patient feeling pain. To allow our patients to help themselves before coming into our office, we recommend mild adjustments to your routine in cases where the pain does not feel severe.

Lower Back Pain with Trinity Spine and Orthopedics

There are many causes of lower back pain. It can be something as simple as a strained ligament, a strained or pulled muscle, or making the wrong movements. Many people hurt their lower back simply because they are pushing, pulling, or lifting something in the wrong manner and straining some part of their back. There are also several conditions that can present themselves as lower back pain:

  • Herniated or ruptured disc Arthritis
  • Sciatica
  • Spinal Stenosis
  • Malalignment

There are many other causes of lower back pain, and what this means for a patient is that a thorough evaluation is needed.

Trinity’s Recommendations

In order to relieve lower back pain, the Fort Worth orthopedic surgeons at Trinity Spine and Orthopedics recommend rest and anti-inflammatories such as Ibuprofen or Aleve for pain relief. Hydrating your body and getting rest will take care of most simple back pains. Merely restricting your activities and giving your body time to recover will take care of the pain. Avoid aggressive activity and don’t try to rush back into your normal routine.

For severe conditions, treatment will vary. However, the doctors at Trinity Spine and Orthopedics have the skills and knowledge to help you find the source of your pain and develop a personalized plan that will drive out the pain and have you back to your normal routines as quickly as possible. Do you need physical therapy? We’ve got that. Spinal Surgery? We can handle it. Are you hurt? We can help.
